Coauthor gets to know you and builds a personalized “Professional Signature” for you based on who you are and how you communicate.

It also uses Multi-Model AI: it combines AI models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Gemini to craft posts that genuinely sounds like you, without complex prompts. Traditional AI writing tools can require extensive prompting and often produce generic content in a telltale AI style.

Coauthor also continuously learns and improves every time you interact with its ideas or refine your posts.

Coauthor is for doers: busy professionals with valuable insights but limited time to share them. This includes founders, executives, team leaders, subject matter experts, consultants, and professionals who want to build authentic influence online.

Currently, Coauthor focuses on creating content for LinkedIn. We’re considering adding support for additional platforms including Twitter/X.

Coauthor is developed by Neon Data, Inc., the company that also develops Hunch. Neon Data was founded by a small team of engineers and designers to help people be more productive with AI. Hunch is a tool that any knowledge worker can use to automate their work with AI.

Coauthor was built using Hunch. All of Coauthor’s AI-powered capabilities—onboarding, post writing, idea generation, refinements, learning, fact checking, and more—were created, and are run, using Hunch. Try Hunch at hunch.tools.

LinkedIn Rewind, launched in December 2024, helped over 300,000 professionals create personalized year-in-review posts about their 2024 LinkedIn activity. While Rewind was a one-time tool for year-end reflections, Coauthor builds on that technology to help professionals regularly create engaging social posts that truly sound like them.

In addition, Coauthor researches the web daily to find news and other information relevant to your expertise and audience interests. You can customize how this works in Settings.

Yes! Coauthor identifies key quotes and takeaways from your posts to create engaging complementary images that increase engagement and visibility.

Coauthor continuously learns from your interactions, including from the edits you make to drafts. This helps it become progressively more aligned with your authentic voice and preferences.

Coauthor automatically checks the accuracy of your posts to ensure you’re sharing reliable information. Our system identifies claims in your writing, researches them, evaluates evidence from multiple sources, and provides clear ratings with suggested refinements when needed. This happens in the background while you work, so you can confidently share content that builds trust with your audience.

Coauthor currently doesn’t publish directly to your accounts. You maintain full control over when and how your content appears.

During your 1-day free trial, you can create up to 10 posts. After that, the Pro plan provides unlimited posts each month, subject to a fair use cap to prevent obvious abuse.

Currently, Coauthor’s interface is only available in English. While we don’t officially support content creation in other languages, many users successfully create posts in their native language by providing thoughts and writing samples in that language during setup.

Yes, with some limitations. About 10% of posts created through Coauthor are in languages other than English. The underlying AI models have multilingual capabilities, so if you provide input in another language, Coauthor will attempt to match your voice in that language—though quality may vary as this isn’t an officially supported feature yet.

Pricing & Subscription

As an early suppter you get a 1-day free trial (up to 10 posts). After that, the Pro plan provides unlimited posts each month, subject to a fair use cap to prevent obvious abuse. Early access price: $29/month for the Core plan, and $49/month for the Pro plan.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription anytime on the Settings page. If you cancel during your free 1-day trial, you won’t be charged.

We accept all major credit cards and debit cards, PayPal, and Google Pay.

Currently, we only offer monthly subscriptions. We may consider annual options with additional savings for the future.

When your 1-day free trial ends, you will be able to access your previous posts, but you will no longer receive daily idea emails or be able to generate new posts. You will have the option to pay the early access rate of $29/month for the Core plan, and $49/month for the Pro plan.

Privacy & Security

No. Coauthor will never post anything without your explicit review and consent. You’re always in full control of what you share.

Your data is encrypted, securely stored, and only shared with necessary service providers like our AI partners (who commit to not train their models on your data) and payment processors. We’ll delete your data upon request.

Yes. You can request complete deletion of your data by contacting our support team at [email protected]. We’ll process your request within 30 days.

While Coauthor works hard to ensure accuracy, no AI system is perfect. That’s why we show you the sources we’ve consulted for each claim and encourage you to review them. You always maintain full editorial control—if you spot something that doesn’t seem right, you can easily edit the post, provide additional context, or remove claims that don’t align with your expertise. We’re continuously improving our fact checking capabilities based on user feedback.

Currently, Coauthor is available through our web application, optimized for both desktop and mobile browsers. You can add a link to the mobile website to your phone’s home screen to launch it more easily, like an app. On iOS devices for example, click the “Share” button in Safari, then “Add to Home Screen.”

Getting Started

The initial setup time varies, but typically takes about 10-15 minutes, including the onboarding questions that help build your Professional Signature. After that, Coauthor is immediately ready to help you create content.

Absolutely! You have full editing capabilities for every post Coauthor generates. You can make manual edits or use AI-assisted refinements to perfect each post before sharing.

If you’re not satisfied with a generated post, you can easily request a revision or start fresh with a new idea. Your feedback helps Coauthor learn your preferences for future content.
